Brochure de 31 pages (in-8), publiée à l'occasion de la première exposition de livres anciens de la bibliothèque de Saint-Omer, à l'occasion de l'inauguration de la "Salle du Teil", actuel bureau de la direction, aménagé grâce au mécénat de la Baronne du Teil-Chaix d'Est-Ange, pour recevoir les livres légués à la bibliothèque par son maris, ancien maire de Saint-Momelin.
Une première expositions de manuscrits avait été organisée Le 5 juillet 1922, dans la galerie des tableaux de l’Hôtel de Ville, et organisée par Monsieur Amédée Boinet, bibliothécaire de Sainte Geneviève à Paris.
